Tammy Swihart, RDN, CDCES joins Hygieia as clinical liaison for physicians in northern and west Michigan
Hygieia has appointed Tammy Swihart, RDN, CDCES, as its clinical liaison to primary care physicians, endocrinologists, clinics and health systems throughout northern and west Michigan. Swihart joins Hygieia as demand grows for its d-Nav® Insulin Management Program.
Swihart has deep experience in diabetes care and education. She holds certification from the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators and registration from the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Additionally, she has served as clinical service manager at Insulet; as a senior diabetes educator at Novo Nordisk; and formed a diabetes outpatient program while at Mercy Health Services.
“Tammy is passionate about meeting the complicated and changing needs of people with diabetes,” said Eran Bashan, CEO and co-founder of Hygieia. “And because of her strong clinical and educational background, she is uniquely qualified to share the many features and benefits of our d-Nav® program with physicians and their patients in northern and west Michigan. Swihart holds a bachelor’s degree in dietetics from Central Michigan University and resides in Cadillac, Michigan.
