d-Nav receives Northern Ireland inaugural eHealth award for ‘Best use of technology to support improved health and care services’

Health and social care staff have been honoured for their innovative care improvements at the inaugural Northern Ireland eHealth and Social Care Awards 2014.

Minister for Health, Social Services and Public Safety, Jim Wells MLA, presented each of the finalists with their award at this year’s first eHealth and Care NI Conference, organised by Northern Ireland Confederation for Health and Social Services (NICON) on 8th and 9th October.

Presenting the awards, Minister Wells said: “Northern Ireland has delivered significant improvements in eHealth and Care over the last few years, making a difference to patients, clients and carers. The innovative projects nominated demonstrate how introducing new ways of working through eHealth can improve the services we provide and deliver to local people, in line with Transforming Your Care.
